Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall has established a permanent productive families' booth, in cooperation with Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). Ala Mazajy volunteer group, which caters to the care of productive families, has extended its support.

"Red Sea Mall has launched the permanent productive families booth to support families to market their products,” Zyad Al-Bassam, VP, JCCI, said, discarding any financial expectancy by the mall.

“The initiative will reflect positively in developing Saudi capabilities, especially those of women and help create opportunities for them to enhance their skills and elevate their chances,” Al-Bassam added.

It will also open the door for more similar investments to compete within the Saudi market, Al-Bassam said. "We encourage all Saudis, who have capabilities to join such promising initiatives, as we continue to pursue our role in supporting them. Such initiatives also aim to enhance our society members’ qualifications and national capabilities, address their difficulties, give them incentives to succeed, and provide them all our support,” he said.

JCCI has endorsed many productive families’ activities that turned beneficial to more than 5,000 women during the last five years and “we will continue to support them."

Mohamed Iqbal Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Malls Company, the owning company of Red Sea Mall, said, "Since the opening of Red Sea Mall, we have taken a huge responsibility toward community service and development, especially of productive families.”

He added: “Therefore, we have carried out studies and strategies for the best method that will serve their best interest. The result of these studies led us to build the first booth for productive families. Red Sea Mall was the first to take this initiative. We aim to support their products, encourage their financial growth, contribute in creating new business opportunities, which will all support the economy of our country.”
