In line with the Rezidor’s Responsible Business program, which is the core of the company’s social, cultural and environmental concerns as well as creating positive impact on humanitarian deed, the Radisson Blu Hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah (2x), Yanbu, Dhahran and the Park Inn by Radisson Al Khobar organized a two-day blood donation drive, which concluded on Sept. 25, in coordination with health institutions in its respective cities.

The event is an annual initiative by the Rezidor Hotel Group in KSA to support an organization with such a humanitarian activity especially at this time when there is an extensive scarcity for blood by the ailing people.

“The Rezidor Hotel Group has been one of the industries longest running and award-winning Responsible Business programs and we have pioneered in initiating this compassionate cause for blood donation among the hotels in the Kingdom,” Basel Talal, district director/GM at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh stated. “In every drop of blood we give, is a gift of life to mankind,” Talal added.

Meanwhile, as a tradition, the Rezidor Hotel Group implemented its 11th annual Responsible Business Action Month during September which coincided with the celebration of the Saudi National Day wherein all the Rezidor hotels in the Kingdom also paid tribute to demonstrate its respect and allegiance to the country and its leaders.
