Riyad Bank has announced completion of preparations for the launch of the 7th Ramadan charity campaign, which will primarily focus on the distribution of food aids and other related items for the needy families Kingdomwide.

The male and female employees of the bank will voluntarily join the campaign in line with the approach adopted by the bank in boosting the principle of voluntary work for the best interest of community.

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabia, deputy CEO of the bank and general supervisor of the community service program (CSP), reaffirmed the completion of all necessary preparations that will enable the campaign carry out its assignment in supporting the needy families in the Kingdom through provision of food requirements.

He said the bank has planned to distribute food aids by the voluntary teams to the needy as early as possible prior to the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

He said: “The bank adopted the initiative for the seventh consecutive year together with the expansion of the beneficiary base in line with the its commitment to social responsibility and boosting values of cooperation and solidarity between community members, which are stemmed from the teachings of our holy religion.”

He also voiced the bank’s appreciation to the voluntary spirit prevailing among the employees and their self-inspired efforts to allow the campaign implement its mission, which carries noble social, religious and national aspects.
