One of Riyad Bank’s most impact community initiatives over the past couple of years has been its summer club activity, which aims to provide disabled people with an ability to get involved in sports and other exercises as part of their integration into society.

This year, Riyad Bank partnered with the Disabled Children’s Association (DCA) to launch a special needs summer club for disabled children in Baha. Thirty six children and adults with special needs took part in the club’s activities over the course of a month.

The club, which ran throughout August, was conceived by Riyad Bank as a means to support disabled nationals with developing their physical and cognitive skills through a series of workshops. These workshops included sports, painting, computer classes, Qur’an recital, and physical therapy.

“I’d like to thank Riyad Bank for setting up this center for Baha’s disabled community,” said Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Saadi, director of DCA for the Baha region.

“The bank has shown itself to be a leader in the field of community service, and the summer club will have a positive impact in supporting the integration of our disabled members into the local society” he added.
