Riyad Bank sponsored the 11th Al-Dokhala National Festival for the seventh year in a row. The 10-day festival on the Snabes Corniche in the Al-Qatif Province and organized by Snabes Social Development Committee, kicked off during the first days of Eid Al-Adha.

Al-Dokhala is one of the traditional and national festivals hosted by the Eastern Region and attended by a large number of citizens and residences from different regions of the Kingdom.

The festival coincided with Eid Al-Adha holiday and included a wide range of traditional, cultural, social and recreational activities. Riyad Bank was one of the most prominent sponsors of the festival.

Mohammad Al-Rabeah, executive vice president of marketing and general director of community services programs at Riyad Bank, commented that Riyad Bank’s sponsorship came within the bank’s intensive efforts to enhance its community partnership with the national and charitable organizations in Saudi Arabia, and refresh tourism activities in different regions of the Kingdom and motivate the events and activities that aim to highlight the cultural and traditional diversity of the Kingdom.

Al-Rabeah praised the good reputation of previous Al-Dokhala festivals, both on national and Gulf levels due to the advanced planning and organizational skills of the supervisors. He also referred to the effectiveness and diversity of the festival confirming that the bank is eager to continue to sponsor the festival due to its social responsibility and for the positive returns in reviving the economic and tourist activities in the Al-Qatif Province.
