As part of its efforts to support the local community and promote youth development, Riyad Bank sponsored for the second year in a row the “Young Entrepreneur” initiative which took place from Feb. 26 to March 2 in Riyadh’s Granada Mall. The initiative targets school children and youth from the ages of eight to eighteen. The focus of the initiative is on the areas of finance, marketing and planning.

The program lasts for five days and includes a series of challenges focusing on retail banking, such as account and business management, as well as marketing and sales at the mall through a specially-designed set-up.

“We’re very supportive of initiatives such as these that help to build up skills and promote entrepreneurship through the development of financial, marketing and management skills,” said Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeah, executive vice president and general supervisor of Riyad Bank's community services programs. “We wish all the youth who take part the best of luck," he said.
