Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE) are showcasing their latest electronic services at the Gitex Technology Week exhibition that opened at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center (DICEC) on Sunday.

“We are happy to participate in the 34th edition of GITEX Technology Week with other public entities under the umbrella of Sharjah Government,” said Saud Salim Al-Mazrouei, director of HFZA and SAIF ZONE. 

“We want  the public and visiting delegations to be familiar with the practical steps followed by our free zones.: 

He added: “Visitors will be able to experience a range of IT solutions that have been built to simplify many aspects of business in the Free Zone.”

He said: “We are showcasing the latest e-services provided to our customers which enable convenient access to investor information.”

Al-Mazrouei said: “Gitex provides an excellent platform to interact with enterprises who might be interested in investing in the business-friendly environment of the free zones in Sharjah.”

He said: “We strive to apply an e-Government concept with cooperation from government organizations in Sharjah in accordance with the directives of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al-Qassimi; Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah,” he said.

In addition, visitors to the stand will also get a chance to learn about the key initiatives taken by our free zones.

The stand has the latest data and updates on the emirate’s transformation into a smart government.

“Our free zones seek to constantly introduce the latest electronic services in accordance with the plans of the Government of Sharjah to increase performance and save time and effort of the businessmen and investors,” Al-Mazrouei added.  

“SAIF ZONE and HFZA are ideal hubs for hardware companies that need the port and logistics,” he said.

Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE) is the premier business destination with over 6500 companies from 147 countries, carrying out business activities like light to medium manufacturing, trading and providing services such as IT, consultancy, etc. 

HFZA houses 5,700 companies from across 155 nations, welcoming foreign investment from more than 500 industries in the key sectors of oil & gas, petrochemicals, maritime, steel, construction and food.

Sharjah Government stand is located at  S2-B1 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3.
