BMG Foundation launched its third awareness initiative “Our Health, Our Crown” at the third Health Promotion Exhibition held at Alfaisal University in Riyadh.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza, president of Alfaisal University, opened the exhibition titled “Towards a Culture of Health and Well-being.” The event was organized by the students of the College of Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Baraa Al-Ghalayini, head of Alfaisal Family and Community Medicine Department.

The aim of the BMG Foundation initiative is to promote health and well-being across communities. The campaign strives to raise awareness about health issues related to lifestyle and to encourage people to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Wedad Baroudi, coordinator for BMG Foundation campaigns, said that his organization had also launched other campaigns like “Safe Driving, Life Saving” and “Our Water, Our Life.”

The BMG Foundation was founded 20 years ago with the mission to bridge the gaps between the East and the West and to serve the community.

Alfaisal University students had set up interactive booths with different themes like cancer screening, energy drinks, antibiotic resistance and waste management.

Dr. Waleed Fitaihi was the guest of honor. Speaking on the occasion, he said that every individual was responsible for his or her health. Promoting a healthy lifestyle is the key to development, he said.

At the end of the exhibition, Dr. Khaled Al-Kattan, dean of the College of Medicine, gave awards to the participants of the exhibition.
