The holy month of Ramadan is here and millions of people around the world honor this month with acts of service and prayers.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, a major jewelry retailer strengthens its CSR activities in the GCC and Far East region this Ramadan, embracing the spirit of giving.

Over 53,000 special iftar meals will be distributed as part of the month long activities.

In the UAE, 24,000 iftar meals will be provided at Sajaa Industrial Area throughout the holy month in an air conditioned tent, which is setup with the support of Sharjah Charity International. Apart from this, iftar kits will be distributed across the Emirates to the needy.

In Bahrain, the group is planning to provide over 4,500 iftar meals to the workers at different labor camps located all over Bahrain. Like in previous years, they will be associating with Discovery Islam, Al Hedaya Centre and Friendship Society for Blinds to carry out such activities in Bahrain.

In Kuwait, the group will provide iftar meals to over 3,600 laborers in different parts of various governorates in Kuwait.

In Qatar, the group will be providing iftar meals to over 1,500 laborers during Ramadan through their tents located in Al-Khor & Industrial Area near Asian Town. In Oman, the group is distributing special Ramadan kits to the underprivileged. 300 such kits include grocery, which will be enough for a person to break the fast for 15 days during Ramadan.

In Singapore, 370 special iftar kits will be distributed to the underprivileged.

In Malaysia, the group will be distributing 2,500 food kits to the less fortunate and blind people in Kuala Lumpur.
