And if you happen to be a lentil lover, Split Green Gram wrap is the best option for you. Let’s us begin the tasty journey.
Recipe 1
Baked Salmon
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Marination time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
Half kg fresh salmon fish
One teaspoon olive oil
Two teaspoon fresh lemon juice.
Two teaspoon Shan Tandoori Masala
Two teaspoon Shan Fish Masala
One tablespoon fresh ginger and garlic paste
One tablespoon low fat beaten yogurt
One and a half teaspoon salt
Oregano (to sprinkle)
Method:
Wash fish with tap water and keep it in a strainer for half an hour so that the extra water gets discarded.
Make cuts to the fish from both sides (so that it absorbs all the ingredients well)
Apply salt, lemon and ginger garlic paste all over the fish (from both sides)
Keep it aside.
In a deep bowl, add beaten yogurt, Shan Tandoori Masala and Shan Fish Masala and olive oil. Mix the ingredients well.
Now place the fish in a bowl and flip it. Make sure it absorbs the masalas well. Cover the dish with a lid.
Keep the fish in a chilled tray for half an hour.
Later bake it at 150*C for 30 minutes. You can grill or shallow fry it in a non-stick frying pan.
Dish it out in a square dish.
Enjoy it with green salad or tomato sauce.
Recipe 2
Grapes and fig (anjeer) pancake
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
One whole egg
One tablespoon oats flour or rolled oats
One tablespoon multigrain flour (optional)
One and a half tablespoon low-fat milk
Vanilla essence
Baking soda(a pinch)
One fig (chopped)
Few grapes (five to six)
Few raisins (five to six)
Cinnamon powder (a pinch)
One tablespoon coconut oil
Honey to drizzle
Method:
Blend all the above ingredients in a jug blender (except for baking soda) for a few minutes and pour it in a milk pot. Add baking soda and mix it well with a hand beater.
Take a non-stick frying pan, grease it with coconut oil.
Switch on the flame to make the frying pan hot.
Once the pan becomes hot, lower the flame and slowly start spreading the batter in circular form. You can rotate the pan sideways by holding the handle. You can use small round cutters that can be placed in the pan. Pour the batter in it, remove the cutters after a few seconds and flip the pancakes.
Cover the lid of the pan for a minute.
Take a fork and scoot it underneath the edge of the pancake. Lift it up. If the underside is golden brown, it’s time to flip it and turn off the flame.
Let it remain in the pan for a minute or more.
Start rolling the pancake with the help of a spatula in the pan itself by turning it downwards. Slowly pour it in a long serving dish and enjoy it with a hot cup of tea.
