Finally the Bollywood epic, Sholay, goes 3D. That is great news. I can’t wait to watch it the umpteenth time. This time around, however, it will be an altogether different experience. We will hate Gabbar more and try to enjoy Veeru shouting at the top of his voice perched atop a water reservoir. Not to forget, Basanti’s continuous blabbering and Jai’s epic one-liners. We all are excited. Still can’t figure out as to how will it feel to watch the blockbuster in 3D.
It is one of those Indian movies that must have been seen by people of all generations since its release in the late 1970s. Those who haven’t yet seen it — mostly those in their early teens — will definitely fall in love with the movie. — Mukhtar Ali, Dammam
