  Netflix’s latest Arabic-language original, starring Lebanese film veteran Adel Karam, is set to hit TV screens on Aug. 8. The series tells the story of an advertising mastermind who is tasked with coming up with a million dollar idea for the launch of a new bank.

  The first Emirati series to run on Netflix, “Qalb Al-Adalah” was directed by Ahmed Khaled and is being streamed with subtitles in 20 different languages.

• ‘The Secret of the Nile’

  

  The subterfuge-filled period romantic drama has made its way to the international market with subtitles in English and Greek.

• ‘Al-Hayba’

  

  Helmed by Syrian director Samer Al-Berkawi, the hit show tells the story of the arms-smuggling Sheikh El-Jabal clan in a village on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
