Pakistani PM, Prince Sultan reaffirm commitment to ‘time-tested’ ties
  • Appreciates social welfare projects of the Sultana Foundation in Pakistan 
  • Reaffirms “shared commitment” to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday spoke to the chairman of the Saudi commission for tourism and national heritage, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and appreciated the social welfare projects of the Sultana Foundation in Pakistan while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to ties with Saudi Arabia. 

The Sultana Foundation Center for Education Research and Social Development has been assisting in Pakistan’s development for years. 

“The Prime Minister appreciated the social welfare and educational projects of the Sultana Foundation in Pakistan, patronized by Prince Sultan,” Khan’s office said in a statement. “He also praised the Foundation’s philanthropic ideology, which is aimed at socioeconomic welfare of the vulnerable segment of society.”

The Prime Minister assured future support and cooperation for the Foundation in pursuit of its noble mission. 

The Prime Minister and Prince Sultan “reaffirmed longstanding, and time-tested ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the shared commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.”
