JEDDAH: Heavy rain is expected in the southern and southwestern parts of the kingdom on Wednesday, according to a weather forecast of the King Abdulaziz University’s Meteorology Department.
Dr. Mansour bin Attiya Al Mazroui, head of the Meteorology Department, said rainy weather is also expected for the rest of the week in Asir, Baha, Najran, Jazan and nearby areas as well as in Taif and the heights of Makkah.
Riyadh and parts of central Saudi Arabia will see light rain, Mazroui was quoted by online news site Sabq.org as saying.
