Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, the largest university for women in the world is taking steps to emerge as a center of excellence. It is making efforts to achieve distinction in various specializations.
One of its recent accomplishments is the creation of the Medical Stimulation and Skills Center, the largest of its kind in the Gulf region.
The university was established as the first college for women in the Kingdom. In 2008, late King Abdullah named it after the sister of country’s founder King Abdul Aziz “Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University.”
The university is committed to the vision of the country’s leadership. The inauguration of the new center comes at the conclusion of the successful International Nursing Week and the signing of partnership agreements with local and international organizations to offer training in medical services.
The center, in addition to graduating academically and professionally qualified nurses, will contribute to the strategic planning of health care and meet the requirements of the labor market by defining requirements of the medical sector for the working power, equipment and instruments.
