RIYADH: Alif International School, one of the Central Board of Secondary Education-affiliated institutions in Riyadh, celebrated its Annual Kids Fest and Goodbye Kindergarten 2017 graduation ceremony in Shifa Remas Auditorium with pomp and show.
In the graduation ceremony, UKG students were presented with caps and gowns. Students from KG to lower primary section performed in various cultural programs adding fervor to the annual celebrations. Dances, mimes, musical dramas highlighting different cultures and tradition in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan received applause from the audience.
Mohammed Haneefa, principal of Modern International School, inaugurated the valedictory session of the weeklong celebration.
Pointing to an important issue, he said in his address: “In today’s world, most of our time is stolen by social media leaving us with little to spend with our children; and this would cause them to grow without love and care. This is the most dangerous situation.”
Alif principal Mohammed Musthafa presided over the function. Chairman T.P. Alikunhi Moulavi delivered the blessings speech.
