Boston bombings (2)

As the investigations into Boston Marathon bombings continue, US President Barack Obama said on Friday: “There are still many unanswered questions.
Why did these young men who grew up and studied here as part of our communities and our country resort to such violence? How did they plan and carry out these attacks? And did they receive any help? The families of those killed so senselessly deserve answers.” Certainly, the investigation into upbringing of the two brothers suspected in the bombings will provide the rationale for the dastardly act.
Yet the total emphasis on the ethnicity and faith of the two accused should not be the basis for an accusation.
I am rather convinced that the US leadership will not allow Boston bombings to be used as a reason to spread ethnic hatred. — Shaukat Naeem Ghumman, Riyadh
