Private schools allowed to establish nurseries

An official at the Ministry of Labor has said that a committee comprising several ministries has been formed to establish nurseries in different parts of the Kingdom to tend to the needs of working mothers.
The move comes in a bid to curb the phenomenon of leaving kids at home with housemaids.
Authorities are working hard to study these developmental steps before implementing them on the ground.
Local press reported that the Ministry of Education has granted permission to girls’ private schools to open up nurseries on their premises. The ministry’s role will be supervisory and educational directorates will be tasked with notifying investors who are interested in filling out applications forms to do so through the Ministry of Social Affairs since it is the authorized entity.
