May 29: The Nation report by Web Desk states that Meteorological department issued a fresh heatwave alert in Karachi as temperature in the city is expected to reach 45ºC. Met Office says that a new heatwave of moderate to severe intensity would remain in Karachi and its suburbs from Tuesday and was expected to continue till Thursday that is from May 29 to 31. During the period, the entry of relatively cooler sea breeze will be suspended whereas hot and dry winds will blow in the metropolis.
