The Saudi league ended last Saturday with a new champion, Fateh, which is worthy of the big celebration and deserving of the ceremony.
While Fateh was crowned champion, Wehdah, on the other end of the ranking, sadly left the Premier League again and relegated to the First Division league accompanied by Hajjar which also hails from the same city of Ahsa as Fateh. The league also welcomed the new comers for next season, Orobah from Aljouf and the second team will finally be decided on the last round of the First Division league tomorrow.
In another championship, the Asian Champions League was hot last week when Hilal beat Al-Ain in Riyadh in a thrilling match.
Ittifaq also won but needs another victory tonight to ensure is spot in the second round while Ahli and Shabab are already sure to be in that round, thanks to their strong performance in the beginning of the championship.
Hilal's winning last night's match against Rayan in Doha also confirmed the Riyadh-based club’s place in the second round. Regardless who will make it, I think that all the four teams have the capability to make it to the top, and I wish one of the four will be crowned as champion at last.
