The search has almost come to an end. Without closure.
But things have never been murkier. The submarine that was doing the underwater hunt for the wreckage has been “grounded” for seven days now without spare parts. So much for the heavily touted international search for the Triple Seven Malaysian flight 370. Can’t some nation provide the spare parts? Australian Defense Vessel (ADV) Ocean Shield has arrived at Geraldton, Western Australia, to receive spare parts related to the transponder mounted on it. So, that is that. Now, with two books, a film and several “conspiracy” stories being the fallout the fear that things are not what they seem gets boost from the Malaysian opposition leader.
Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar claimed that the cargo manifest for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370 had been deleted by “people in authority” as part of efforts to conceal information on the plane’s disappearance.
That just about takes the cake. It was, if you remember, one of the first questions asked (see tabs) and the issue had been swiftly swept under the rug. Now, it has become central again. “You can’t expect the international community to have this huge search and rescue operation to find the debris. We have to know what is the cargo on the flight.”
Which has again given people suspicion that the plane was shot down or guided to its end in a bizarre form of CFIT (controlled flight into terrain.) Someone wanted that plane out of the sky and after a brief hiatus, there is again a certain state of agitation. With good cause.
Anwar said, the authorities want to conceal evidence in order to deflect (something) or (they are) fearful the information will cause further embarrassment.
The one factor that the Malaysians have not addressed is how the air force which is equipped to track aircraft that are unidentified (any air force worth its name would be able to sight incoming or outgoing objects) failed to track Flight 370 for over 7 hours.
