John H. Lienhard is the Abdul Latif Jameel professor of water and the founding director of the Abdul Latif Jameel World Water and Food Security Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During three decades on the MIT faculty, Lienhard’s research and educational efforts have focused on water purification and desalination.
