Pakistan Today report by news desk states that Pakistan Army spokesman Major Gen. Asif Ghafur said in his press briefing that Pakistan still considered the United States an ally despite the upheavals in bilateral ties, adding that the United States needed to cooperate rather than coerce Pakistan to move forward in war on terror, and noting that a third party in the region, alluding to India, was responsible for the deterioration in US-Pakistan relations.
