PARIS: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called Tuesday for the world to act with “far greater urgency” to limit global warming, warning that fossil fuels were driving twin climate and energy crises.
“On the surface, these crises may seem separate. But they share the same destructive force: Fossil fuels,” Guterres said at London Climate Action Week, an annual gathering of policymakers, company executives and NGOs.
