It is sad to note that the mass media even in the Muslim countries freely use the terms “Islamist” and “Islamic terrorism.” Coining of these terms is part of an intellectual onslaught on the Muslim world. Muslim thinkers should counter this propaganda effectively. We should tell the world that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism and a true Muslim does not kill innocent people in the name of Islam. — Raffat Shaikh, Jubail
