Hire Saudi women ... or lose your business

Any store that does not meet the requirements of women's employment will be forced to shut down. The Ministry of Labor will start a nationwide campaign. Therefore, stores that sell abayas, women's lingerie, accessories, dresses, etc. have no choice but to employ Saudi women.

Such a campaign should lead to the hiring thousands of Saudi women who suffered years of joblessness due to unjustified social constraints. Earlier, men were the only occupiers of such jobs.

Now, as the Saudi media raised the issue, the religious answer was quick to come and was very supportive: ‘Nothing prevents women from selling their own goods.’ Thus, the decision came quick and vast.

This serious decision by the Saudi ministry should rule out any cat and mouse chase. For the Saudi government, women work is a must! Businessmen, chain store owners or small business runners are faced with one clear fact: It’s this, or losing their high revenue business!
