April 26: Radio Pakistan states that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan welcomes any initiative which can bring peace and stability to Afghanistan as the entire region will benefit from it. He was talking to Chief of General Staff of Russian Armed Forces, General Valery Vasilevich Gerasimov, in Moscow.
