October 8 – The Economic Daily states that Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said Saturday that the country's southwest Balochistan province will be given more than its due share in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). In his maiden visit to the province, the prime minister said that the port city of Gwadar will provide a huge opportunity and immense benefits to the province under CPEC.
