Poor Noor

What has been happening with Ittihad in the past few days is not making their fans happy. Putting the blame for the loss against Hilal to their team captain Mohammad Noor is unfair. Noor is considered one of the finest to ever play in an Ittihad jersey and is responsible for many of their championships.
Last Monday, Ittihad's management has given Noor a forced vacation till the end of the season.
This simply means his services are no longer required. I think that whether we like him or not, Noor deserves a much better way to end his contract.
Moving on, Saudi teams will finish their fourth round in the Asian Champions League tonight with two matches: Ahli vs. Sepahan in Jeddah and Shabab vs. Tractors. Coincidentally, both teams are from Iran. Speaking of Iran, Esteghlal has practically kicked Hilal out of the championship.
The management's and the team's carelessness has cost us a golden opportunity to stay in track. They lost to Esteghlal 1-2 last Wednesday at their home court in Riyadh. Hilal's players, most especially the defenders gave the match away as they shamefully could not protect their 1-0 lead and have passed up many chances even before that goal.
