The jobless kafeel
The changes on recruitment and its procedures are driving things to an area of ‘let’s imagine.’ The announcements on the new Iqama (residence permit) are also in serious need for a creative mind to visualize the possibilities. You still have more than six months ahead to make up your own image by 2014. In the following, lets thinks louder:
Will we see a fired kafeel (sponsor)? Or is it that the new system is going to correct the situations and leave the ‘multi kafeel’ with no choices? Thinks of those multi kafeels who run a hidden market of labor in different cities. In some cases, the number of labor may count up to (who knows)!
On the other hand, will every illegal non-Saudi be willing to correct his situation and become a legal resident? Or is his illegality scoring him more profits and thus, he won’t let go of what suits him best?
I can think of a hundred scenarios. What about you ladies and gentlemen?
